Therefore three Woodbridge Cup games will be played on Saturday, along with Friday night’s match, where Canowindra took on the Grenfell Goannas.
The match of the round on Saturday has third-placed Eugowra Golden Eagles hosting competition leaders Trundle Boomers.
Eugowra have had one win and a bye thus far, but always save themselves for these big games.
The Boomers, however, are playing some good rugby league, with four wins from four games.
Eugowra coming off the bye should be raring to go at home. They will be hard to beat. I think the Boomers will continue on their winning ways, but a Golden Eagles win would not surprise me.
Peak Hill Roosters play Condobolin Rams in what is always a hard derby.
The Roosters, coming off a hard fought 44-30 loss to Trundle last week, will be playing a Rams side which was thrashed 66-12 by Burrangong. Peak Hill should enjoy the home ground advantage and win this one.
The last match on Saturday has second-placed Cargo Blue Heelers at home to Burrangong Bears.
Cargo at home will not play two bad games in a row and should return to form and win this one over the Bears, who will come to play. Gooloogong Cowboys have the bye.
Youth league returns with Eugowra playing Canowindra and Peak Hill taking on Grenfell.
In league tag, Canowindra plays Grenfell, Eugowra squares off against Gooloogong, and Condobolin and Cargo have byes.
