The lucky winner was Terry Tilston, whose name was drawn from hundreds of entries.
Central Western Daily advertising manager Rochelle Monaghan said, unfortunately, there could only be one winner, but she was thrilled for Mrs Tilston.
“Congratulations on a fantastic win,” she said.
“We would like to take the time to thank all those hundreds of people who filled in the entry form and came in to the CWD in the hope of winning.”
Travel World consultant Gai Fardell who drew Mrs Tilston’s winning ticket from the barrel said she hoped Mrs Tilston and her chosen travel companion enjoyed their trip.
“When you first fly over Uluru and catch a glimpse from the plane, it doesn’t give you a concept of how big this icon actually is until you are on the ground,” she said.
“It is a wonderful experience.”
