The Ronald McDonald house under construction near Orange hospital is a place for families to stay while their child is having treatment in Orange for serious illness.
The house is a home away from home and two artists who are exhibiting in Orange over Easter decided to donate some of their works to help make the house more inviting.
Fay Joseph and Sita Cooray donated paintings of landscapes and frogs to help warm the house.
Curator of the Easter exhibition at Kenna Hall, Beverley Allen said the paintings chosen were bright and designed to bring colour into the lives of people who would be going through tough times.
The exhibition is on Saturday, April 19 to Monday, April 21 from 11am to 5pm except on Monday, it is open 10.30am to 4pm.
Artists include Eris Flemming, Sita Cooray and Fay Joseph.
“I encourage families to bring their children to enable them to acquire an early appreciation of the artworks.”
