This year it's making significant waves.
Hot on the heels of Lottie Graham making the Combined High Schools (CHS) students with a disability swimming carnival in 2013, the school has had three other students achieve the same milestone 12 months on.
Next month Anthony, Jay Reed and Shane Risby will join Graham at the CHS championships at Homebush.
Smashing the competition at the qualification carnivals, the Western Region championships at Orange and the CHS trials in Dubbo, the Anson Street quartet will now take on the best multi-class swimmers from across the state at the Olympic Aquatic Centre over three days starting April 6.
With the school brimming following a record number of qualifiers for the carnival, Anson Street’s Toot Keegan said the quartet will hold their own throughout the multi-class events.
“The school’s really proud of them,” she said.
“All of the staff and students are proud of the way they’ve performed. We hope they do well.”
