Well the Central Western Daily has just the competition for you.
Called TopTippa, the competition allocates points to your NRL selections that accumulate over the footy season.
If you’re worried the season has already started don’t fret, there’s great weekly prizes to give away and, if you register now, TopTippa will automatically give you points for the previous rounds you’ve missed.
Get rewarded in this fun take on footy tipping by tipping the upset - that’s right, you receive points depending on the chances of your tip.
Pick the roughie and move up the leaderboard, as long as you pick the winner.
Myles Matheson was the highest tipper for Orange in round one. He was inspired to take part after his dad was successful in this type of competition last year.
He believes the secret to success in this tipping competition is to take calculated risks.
“My old man won this competition in Bathurst this year so I was speaking with a few mates from TAFE and we jumped at the chance to compete at the one in Orange,” he said.
“I reckon to be good at it you’ve just got to be brave and take lots of risks and tip at least one roughie every round,.
“This is much more exciting than just normal tipping, you seem to get a lot more involved.”
