A stolen motorbike has collided with a police officer in Orange on Thursday morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident that occurred about 10.50am on Thursday in Springfield Place.
Officers were in the street when they saw the unregistered motorbike drive nearby.
One of the officers walked onto the roadway and attempted to stop the bike, which allegedly accelerated and struck the officer.
The motorcycle crashed and the officer was knocked to the ground, before the rider ran from the location into Davidson Place.
The officer was taken to Orange Hospital for treatment to multiple abrasions and bruising. He has since been released.
Detectives are now investigating the incident and have discovered the motorbike was stolen from Spring Street.
The male rider was described as Caucasian appearance, about 16-years-old and wearing a white baseball cap, white tee-shirt and white shorts.
