Some of Australia and the world’s best polo players will line up for an action-packed weekend of family entertainment.
Millamolong social committee members Simone Madigan said the “creme de la creme” of polo players will be taking part.
“We’re really lucky to have such an international event on our doorsteps that draws international players,” she said.
Saturday is all about glamour, fast paced action as well as a few unique races she said.
Polo action kicks off at 9.30am before the first bike polo match to kick off at 12.30pm.
Competitors take part in a polo match while riding a bike on the hallowed polo grounds.
Another Saturday highlight is the race of the day with one of Millamolong’s finest ponies up against a Volvo car to see who truly has the most horsepower.
Saturday night will also be filled will live music by Pat and Kell, with food by Edwena Mitchell.
“Sunday is more family orientated .... it’s the polo final and we also have a lolly drop, kids’ tent and pony rides,” Mrs Madigan said.
“There’s fun interactive things for the kids.”
Some of the most beautiful vintage cars will also take part in a rally on Sunday at the event.
Mrs Madigan said the polo weekend also works as a fundraiser for two charities they have chosen to support - Riding for the Disabled in Orange and also CARE Australia.
General admission on either day is $5 with children under 10 years old free.
