Cementing its spot as the side to beat in division one, Duntryleague completed a 4-1 win over Wenty to remain unbeaten after four competition rounds
Despite the 4-1 scoreline, the local derby round wasn’t all one-way traffic.
Wayne Carpenter defeated Tyler Mendham 1-up, while Mal Gregor required extra holes to eventually edge Jason Hurford on the 19th.
Rob Parfett, however, enjoyed a much simpler round against Jordan Clark with a 5 and 4 victory while Robert Payne completed a 3 and 1 triumph over Steve Bray to ensure Duntryleague’s lead was insurmountable.
Jaime Newman was the only victor for Wentworth, drumming up a 4 and 3 win over Duntry’s Craig Stojanovic.
Duntryleague’s division one win was then capped by similarly dominant wins in the lower rungs. Duntryleague won 5-nil in division two, 3-2 in division three and 4-1 in division four.
In other division one results, Cowra recorded a convincing 4-1 victory over Forbes, also at Parkes, to round out Pool B action.
Duntryleague (4.1 points) is unbeaten atop the Pool B standings narrowly ahead of Parkes (4.0), with the two set to go head-to-head in the final round of the pool stages next Sunday in Forbes.
The winner will claim top spot of Pool B.
Bathurst (2.9) and Mudgee (2.7) head the Pool A standings and, barring Dubbo upsetting Mudgee in their final round in Bathurst, the two will qualify for the pennants semi-finals.
