Crews will begin pavement stabilisation work in the coming days this week on Piesley Street between Gardiner Road and north to the railway bridge .
Works are continuing on schedule for the pavement upgrade of the western end of the Northern Bypass Road between Molong Road and Forbes Road.
After weeks of work improving drainage along the road and pavement stabilisation the first stage of sealing will begin this week, weather permitting.
ORANGE City Council will begin its annual resealing program this week in low-traffic residential streets.
This resealing work is undertaken to preserve otherwise sound road pavements from premature deterioration and eventual costly reconstruction.
The residential streets to be sealed and the approximate dates this week include:
Monday, February 24: Northstoke Way, Hereford Place, Angus Place, McCarron Place, Burrendong Way, Dale Street and Lane Street.
Tuesday, February 25: Cianfranco Place, Glendale Crescent, Saran Place, Pine Ridge Drive, Westhaven Place, Amana Place, Mirral Way and Tumbeelluwa Place.
Wednesday, February 26: Braemar Close, Kingfisher Circuit, Coogal Drive, Kooronga Avenue, Pulari Place, Kirra Lane and Alkira Way.
Thursday, February 27: Currong Crescent, Amber Street, Beech Crescent, Kalkadoon Place and Karimi Way.
POTHOLE patching activities were carried out on Burrendong Way from the council’s northern boundary back to the Northern Bypass Road, as well as in Forest Road and in Whiley Road (east of Spring Hill).
Road patching activities continued on the parking lanes in Dalton, Prince March and Sale Streets this week.
Crews will move on to Byng and Clinton Street parking lanes this week.
