The two-year-old bay filly dominated the $8,500 Macquarie Geotech - Father Rileys Horse Two Year Old Pace (1880m), winning in 2.38.1, with a mile rate of 2.06.8.
The Bernie Hewitt-driven Aunty Kym went into the race as a short-priced favourite, and was never really tested throughout.
Aunty Kym jumped to the front as the race began, and held her position despite plenty of boxing in the pack behind her.
Catalina Rainbow, Oppys Aatma, Nevada Shannon and Hey Porscha had a race-long battle for second and third spots.
Early in the race Oppys Aatma and Nevada Shannon kicked into positions two and three, while Hey Porscha and Aunty Nellie stuck on the inside in fourth and fifth.
As Catalina Rainbow moved up through the pack, Nevada Shannon took up second spot as Oppys Aatma lost the pace and fell back.
Aunty Nellie struck trouble and fell away, almost coming to complete stop at one stage on the main straight.
As they entered the back straight again Aunty Kym was piloting by a big length. Nevada Shannon was placed nicely in second, while Oppys Aatma rejoined the pace and pulled back in contention one out.
As the bell sounded Aunty Kym refused to relent, while Catalina Rainbow pushed up into second with Oppys Aatma settling into third with around 600 metres to run.
The placing didn’t change after they turned into the main straight, and Hewitt completed an almost flawless drive aboard the $3.50 favourite.
