During the HeartKids Cup on the weekend, spectators saw the Orange teenager in the Baulkham Hills colours for the first time.
Jasprizza, who was last week named in the NSW under 19s side, has linked with the Sydney-based club for the 2014 State League competition.
It was a hectic weekend after she attended state training on Friday night and Saturday morning before getting back to Orange in time for the first game.
The 17-year-old had an interesting introduction to her new team, as she played for Orange in the first game against Baulkham Hills.
The mid-courter spent the rest of the tournament with the Sydney side.
“It was a bit weird (playing against Baulkham Hills) because I was on my girl and she said, ‘Welcome to your team’,” Jasprizza laughed.
“I’m really enjoying playing with Baulkham Hills.”
Jasprizza, who normally lines up at wing attack, spent most of the weekend playing centre.
Baulkham Hills captain Nardia Macdonald said the teenager was a welcome addition to the side.
“Having Charlotte injected into the centre-court is amazing,” Macdonald said.
Orange captain Mardi Aplin was also impressed with Jasprizza’s obvious development.
“I watched Char and she’s improving,” Aplin said.
“She had state training on Friday night and Saturday morning and just made it back in time to play for Orange against Baulko. She was physically shattered. That’s why Nards (Macdonald) didn’t push her.
“The games she did play, she was on fire.”
Jasprizza will still play in the Orange Netball Association division one competition with LifeStudios, although she may miss the first few rounds.
She should also be available for Orange’s representative side.
Baulkham Hills’ division one State League campaign starts on March 19.
