Firefighters scrambled across the Canobolas Zone with fires breaking out at Cadia, Borenore, Nashdale, Clifton Grove, Lewis Ponds and Suma Park Dam.
NSW Rural Fire Service Canobolas Zone fire mitigation officer Geoff Selwood said compared to Chiffley zone near Bathurst things were easier here.
"We got off very lightly. We ended up with about five first and they were little," he said.
"A lot were cause by lightning."
All fires in the Canobolas Zone are now listed as under control with an advice level alert and no immediate danger.
Crews are monitoring a 30-hectare scrub fire at Four Mile Creek Road, Cadia, a six-hectare scrub fire at Borenore Road, Nashdale, a 12 hectare forest fire at Ophir Road, Clifton Grove, a two-hectare forest fire at Gowan Road, Lewis Ponds.
