In the first incident a man in his 50s and a woman in her 20s were burned in a flash fire on boat in a waterway near Forbes.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the man and woman were in the water when paramedics arrived to treat and stabilise them. Both received burns to their airways, face and upper body.
They were flown by helicopter to Royal North Shore Hospital.
In the second incident, near Stuart Town on Burrendong Way, a 20-year-old man, who was towing his boat, pulled over to check the boat's exhaust when he sustained serious burns to his face and airways.
A NSW Ambulance spokesmen said some confusion about the two separate incidents was circulating on social media and reports the injured people were involved in a jet ski accident were incorrect.
