RSPCA need help to find cat killers

THE RSPCA have little hope of catching the people responsible killing a cat last week without help from the public.

The cat was killed after being shot with an arrow at 9.30am on Wednesday, August 1, in Endsleigh Avenue.

RSPCA Chief Inspector David O-Shannessy said the premeditated nature of the crime was cause for concern.

"It is concerning to think there are individuals out there capable of doing this kind of thing," she said.

"The fact they called the cat over to do this."

Inspector O'Shannessy said the RSPCA were working closely with the Orange Police to solve the crime.

Read details of the investigation in tomorrow's Central Western Daily.
