The preschool Storytime session went all out with a circus theme.
Children, their parents and carers were encouraged to dress up on the day, while Orange High School’s circus troupe held a special performance, with acrobatics and tumbling skills on show.
Central West Libraries and Central West Writers’ Centre reading and writing co-ordinator Jasmine Vidler said everyone loved the circus troupe’s performance.
“There was tumbling, balance beam and paper twirling,” she said.
“The children got to join in and try out different activities.”
Ms Vidler said many children dressed up for the session, with clowns, acrobats and even a circus mouse among the costumes.
“Parents and carers went to a lot of trouble to get their children dressed up,” she said.
Circus themed Storytime continues today with participants encouraged to dress up for the free session at 11am.
Tomorrow, the circus troupe will return to perform at the 11am and 2pm sessions.
No bookings are required and entry is free.
