A TRUCKLOAD of animal supplies left Orange on Thursday to help pets impacted by the bushfires in the Blue Mountains.
Veterinarian Dr Geoff Freeth marvelled at how many donations had been made to help pets in need.
When staff at Canobolas Family Pet Hospital put the call out for donations of pet supplies for those impacted by the fires, they never expected such a great response.
“It’s marvellous how much we got ... half our waiting room is full of donations,” Dr Freeth said.
The donations are going to RSPCA’s head office to be made into care packs for pet owners affected by the fires.
People wishing to donate for the next truckload, should drop items in during the surgery’s opening hours, 8.30am to 5.30pm weekdays, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 11am to 3pm on Sunday.
