A TOTAL fire ban will be in force for Orange, Cabonne and the central ranges tomorrow.
On a day of Total Fire Ban, there is a ban on any fires out in the open.
People should report any unattended fires to Triple-0 immediately.
Tomorrow's forecast is for warm windy weather in Orange with a top of 23 degrees and wind gusting up to 50km/h.
The total fire ban will be in place until midnight tomorrow.
The Bureau of Meteorology has advised there will be a ‘severe’ fire danger rating in place.
Under severe conditions, fires will be uncontrollable and fast moving, and could threaten properties with little warning.
If a fire breaks out in severe conditions, you should only stay with your home if it is well prepared and you are able to actively defend it.
Other council areas included in the total fire ban are Bathurst Regional, Blayney, Cowra, Lithgow, Mid Western Regional and Oberon.
