BFR Foam, Rubber and Camping Orange will open in Peisley Street tomorrow.
This is the second store for the company, which also operates in Bathurst.
Paul Peters will manage the Orange store, which is opposite the Railway Station.
BFR Foam, Rubber and Camping Bathurst store manager Janelle Warn said it made sense for the company to open a store in Orange.
“We have a lot of customers who come from that way,” she said.
MILLAMOLONG Australia was awarded two medals at the 2013 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.
The awards were for its new range of cordials, which are produced in Orange.
The Milla Cordial, lemon, lemon myrtle and Kakadu plum flavour received a silver medal while the apple, ginger and rosella received a bronze.
Milla Cordial’s Camilla Strang said she was very proud of the achievement.
“We have spent months perfecting our recipes and it give us great confidence to receive these accolades from the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW,” she said.
The Milla Cordial range is an extension of the Millamolong brand, which is well known to many people in Orange and the central west for its annual polo carnival.
“We pride ourselves on our distinctive Australian perspective,” Ms Strang said.
The cordial is made from Australian fruit flavoured with bush ingredients and no artificial colouring or preservatives.
AFTER taking over the running of the Union Bank Wine Bar, on the corner of Byng and Sale streets, Swinging Bridge Wines winemaker and owner Tom Ward will open a new cellar door on the premises.
The cellar door will open in time for Orange Wine Week in the building previously occupied by the Union Bank wine store.
“We opened our first cellar door in the main street of Canowindra in my great grandfather’s store a few years ago and have been busy ever since,” Mr Ward said.
“With most of our wines coming from the Orange region, it is a logical progression for us to emulate our cellar door in Orange.”
“This is an extremely exciting time for Orange and for our brand. “
Swinging Bridge has recently introduced a new range of wines, including the Swinging Bridge Single Vineyard Range, which includes a pinot noir and chardonnay.
The cellar door will offer tastings and sales seven days a week from 11am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 11am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday.
Swinging Bridge’s Canowindra cellar door, located in Finn’s Stores, will continue to operate (Thursday to Mondays).
