Each side will play each other once.
The top two sides from each pool with then progress to the super six stage, with two pools of three then challenging for the Royal Hotel Cup.
The top two sides out of the two super six pools then move into semi-finals.
The grand final then contested to determine this year’s Orange District Cricket Association Royal Hotel Cup champions.
“Essentially there’s more games now,” Frecklington added.
“Those who move into the super six stage are guaranteed at least four games.”
