THE lifesaving actions of a nine-year-old Orange girl saved the life of her father during a camping trip last weekend.
Gary O'Neill was camping at the Burrendong State Recreation Area with his two young children when he suffered a severe asthma attack that left him gasping for breath and dreading the worst.
It was just after midnight when disaster struck and he was forced to send his young daughter off into the dark to look for help.
"I couldn't even move, I thought I was going to die and leave them by themselves," he said.
