CENTRAL West Gymnastics trio Sienna Adams, Leah Cook and Keilee Weymouth have shone on day one of the 2013 Gymnastics NSW Country Championships, winning the level two women’s trio event.
The acrobatics took centre stage at Sir Neville Howse on the opening day of the championship, with the young trio impressively making the most of the home ground advantage to record the victory.
Not to be outdone, Asha Nicol, Elsa Presslaber and Tori Writer, also from Central West Gymnastics, won the level three women’s trio event.
The overall acrobatic gymnastics club championship had a tied champion, with Oak Flats Gymnastics and Central Coast Gymnastics Academy both topping the points tally.
In rhythmic, Queanbeyan has been very strong, taking out the level one junior (Annie Nogaliza), level one senior (Claire Robinson), level two senior (Madison Lustri), level three junior (Remy McDougall) and level three senior (Tamika Back) events.
In today’s action, women’s gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics dominate the card.
