The two clubs have been easily the best league tag outfits in Group 10 this season.

They shared the points in the first clash of 2013 at Carrington Park 18-all before Panthers got the upper-hand in a 26-18 win at Wade Park in round 16.

Two weeks ago, however, CYMS won the only game that’s counted for anything so far this season, coming from behind twice to snatch a 14-10 victory and the first place in the league tag grand final.

In a bid to replicate the triumph, CYMS have spent the majority of the week leading into tomorrow’s grand final in typical league fashion - bonding.

“The week has been really good,” Moore said.

“We’ve gotten together a few times, had training twice, we’ll have dinner [Friday] night. We’re sticking together and hopefully that’ll help us in the grand final.”

Moore said the win over Panthers a fortnight ago gave CYMS the belief they needed to succeed.

“We’ve taken plenty of confidence out of that,” she said, with the Bathurst club unbeaten until the major semi-final.

“We went up and saw them play St Pat’s last week and we could tell they weren’t too happy about losing [to CYMS]. 

“They’ll be fired up.”

“We need to get the up in your face defence going to stop them,” Moore said.

“If they get through us they’re hard to catch.”

Kick-off for the league tag grand final is at 9.45am tomorrow morning.
