Mr Ward, who is the winemaker and owner of Swinging Bridge winery, said his first priority will be to ensure the business was up and running smoothly.
“We’re really excited,” Mr Ward said.
“The strengths of the business will be providing great service, great food and great wine.
“It’s a unique venue that the town’s proud of so we looking forward to representing it.”
Mr Ward said he was looking forward to working alongside Mr Bacon who has previously worked at “high level hospitality venues in Sydney”.
Mr Ward said initially there won’t be any sweeping changes to the way the business is operated although the wine store, which had previously operated out of the same site was closed on the weekend.
The wine list at the venue has also changed.
“The wine list will have a regional emphasis but will also include the best wines from around Australia and the world.”
The restaurant, wine bar and wine store were previously run by Belgravia Wines.
