Ms Connors will battle Canberra’s Belinda Sedgwick in the first Australian female gauntlet eliminator in a bid to become the nation's first 60-65 kilogram female champion.
Ms Connors who is accomplished in both boxing and muay thai said the move to mixed martial arts was her next challenge.
"The fitness level and concentration is unbelievable. I know a lot of people that probably wouldn't be able to do it," she said.
"You go in there to show technique and skill, that's what it's all about."
