Gold and Copper Resources owner Brian Locke said the ruling meant his Lucknow based company was next in line for the valley.
While Newcrest spokesperson Kerrina Watson insisted the latest decision would have no impact on current mining operations.
However the next two legal challenges could.
Gold and Copper Resources had five legal actions in train, the next two are not over exploration leases, but concern the Cadia ore body.
