ORANGE councillor Jeff Whitton says Orange residents deserve an explanation from Essential Energy as to why the city's had so many blackouts in recent months.
Cr Whitton said councillors requested a report on power outages weeks ago but were still waiting for a response.
Today he told the Central Western Daily (CWD) the energy supplier couldn't afford to be complacent at a time when energy costs are skyrocketing and consumers are being urged to change energy suppliers.
