CareWest have purchased APEX House and Anson Cottage and now have big plans to revamp the centres.
The plan is to use the centre for a variety of programs designed to support people who would otherwise be socially isolated.
It will also be a drop-in centre for people who come to Orange for medical appointments and require community transport, a light meal and even a place to lie down and rest.
“Our goal is to modernise the facility where we want to create a space where people can gather to chat and socialise, with places for meetings and training,” CareWest chief executive officer Tim Curran said.
