Around 5.30pm yesterday, a 32-year-old woman was driving a Kia Rio south on Forest Road, when her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Police from Canobolas Local Area Command and other emergency services attended the scene.
The woman was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
The woman died today and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
