PEOPLE will be able to show their support of the families of Steve and Trent Morgan this Saturday at a charity golf event.
A charity golf day will be held at the Manildra Golf Club with money raised going to the Morgan Brothers Trust, an account set up to support the families of Steve and Trent Morgan.
The brothers were in a car crash near Bathurst in November last year which claimed Trent’s life and left Steve in hospital with serious injuries.
The Morgan boys played for Manildra Rugby League Club in 1998 and 2004 before Steve coached the first grade side in 2005 and 2006 with Trent’s help.
This Saturday’s event will be a nine hole three person ambrose with players able to tee off between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
It is $20 per player which also includes an all-day barbecue.
There will be things for the entire family with a jumping castle, face painting and market stalls.
There will also be an auction following the presentation.
Those wanting to play only need to turn up on Saturday at Manildra Golf Club.
Organisers hope people from around the region will support the event as Steve and Trent have leant their talents to many league clubs in the area.
Saturday’s golf event will get people warmed up for the Morgan Brothers Trust major fundraising event on March 2.
There will be a junior football clinic as well as celebrity touch football game at Endeavour Oval.
That night the Morgan Brothers Ball will be held at the Orange Function Centre.
Tickets for the ball can be purchased at Blooms Chemist, Orange, Cargo Inn, Manildra Royal Hotel, Molong Telegraph Hotel and the Cowra Guardian.
