PLANS to relocate the Medicare office have been delayed after Human Services minister Kim Carr said traffic issues in the area need to be resolved.
"This means Medicare won't be moving later this year as originally planned but will remain in the Orange City Centre as originally proposed," she said.
Duty senator for Calare Matt Thistlethwaite has welcomed the decision saying it is a win for common sense.
