THE road to Mount Canobolas has been closed for several hours after a thick coverage of ice on the road near the top of the mount resulted in a single car accident.
While the occupants of the vehicle were unhurt a tow truck was required to remove the vehicle.
Police are warning drivers not to try and access the mountain overnight.
A decision will be made on reopening the road in the morning.
