A 28-year-old man who appeared on the state's most wanted list for an alleged aggravated sexual assault of a woman in Condobolin has been arrested in the state's south.
Detectives attached to Lachlan Local Area Command have been investigating the alleged aggravated sexual assault of a woman in Condobolin in March 2010.
The incident led to a 28-year-old man being listed on the state’s most wanted list last month.
The man was wanted on two warrants: one for the alleged aggravated sexual assault and one for allegedly attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Following extensive inquiries and a police appeal, the man attended Albury Police Station today.
He was charged in relation to the warrants and refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court tomorrow.
