Both Andrew McDougall and his wife Deanne Phillips are very deserving of their Order of Australia Medals.
We are very proud to be part of this wonderful OCTEC organisation created and driven for over 30 years under the inspiring leadership of Andrew McDougall.
Deanne Phillips contributed greatly to OCTEC for over 30 years, especially with her massive contribution to the aged care industry and has only recently retired. We miss her amazing contributions.
I was also thrilled to see that your mayor Cr John Davis was also awarded this great honour.
Cr Davis has been the very active mayor of Blayney and most recently the active mayor of Orange for many years. He does do a good job.
Cr Davis is also very supportive of our work at OCTEC for people with disabilities in both Orange, Forbes and further afield.
Congratulations to all three, very well deserved and we are all very proud of you.
