Orange more violent than Bathurst

ORANGE is one of the most violent cities in the state according to figures compiled by the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research.

Orange out ranked Bathurst and Dubbo when it came to assaults and had high numbers of break and enters and cases of malicious damage, comparatively.

 The latest crime figures, compiled and ranked by the bureau, on local government areas, show Orange had almost 100 more cases of assault per 100,000 people than Dubbo and 232 most cases than Bathurst over the last year previous to September
