What: Citizenship Ceremony I Where: Machattie Park, William St side I When: 9:30 am
The ceremony will include addresses from both the mayor and Australia Day Ambassador, a presentation to new citizens and a performance of the National Anthem from Sounds Live Choir.
What: Park Celebration I Where: Machattie Park , Keppel St side I When: From 10am
There will be live music, kid’s games and activities, jumping castles, an animal farm and market stalls. The national anthem and a flag raising will be part of an official ceremony at 11.30 am.
What: Eglinton Barbecue Breakfast I Where: Eglinton War Memorial Hall I When: From 8am
There will be a Barbecue breakfast, a flag raising, car displays, games and activities and prizes to be won.

What: Park celebration I Where: Victoria Park I When: From 7.30 am
Come and enjoy a barbecue breakfast, followed by a performance from the Dubbo City Band and then an official ceremony will begin at 8.30am.
There will be displays from the Dubbo Rescue Squad, the SES, Fire and Police , a jumping castle, face painting, Zoo Mooves and more.
What: Pool celebration I Where: Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre I When: 10am to 11am
For one hour from 10am to 11am entry will be for a gold coin donation, which will go towards the Dubbo Rescue Squad. Once in the pool all activities such as slides and inflatables will still be at normal prices.

What: Australia Day Celebrations I Where: Cook Park, Summer Street I When: 7.30am to 2pm
There will be a barbecue breakfast to start the morning and then the Official Ceremony, which includes a flag raising, citizenship ceremony and awards presentation will begin at 9.15am. The Australia Day Ambassador will also deliver a short speech.
Afterwards there will be plenty to do, with rides for the kids, painting in the park, stalls, live music and dancing, an Australian Day raffle and more. Be sure not to miss the apple rolling competition and the wife carrying race, there are great prizes to be won.
What: Orange Picnic Races I Where: Towac Park Racecourse I When: 12pm till 5pm
Enjoy Australia Day in style at the races; there will be marquees, licensed satellite bars and a fashions on the field competition.
Admission costs $20 (free for under 14s) and all proceeds from Picnics 2012 will go to local charity Coonabahloo Gibir (Men of Canobolas).

Dig into some traditional damper and tea, while enjoying music from the Lithgow City Band, the Lithgow City Highland Pipe band, Peter and Gaye Avery and a performance by Lithgow Line Dancers. Village Markets will also be operating from 9 am – 2 pm.

Bring along a picnic rug and enjoy listening to some live music as the sun goes down. There will be a barbecue and ice-cream and drinks for sale.

What: Pool Party I Where: Lithgow Pool IWhen: 11 am – 3 pm
Bring the family to Lithgow Pool and enjoy free entry, children’s entertainment, a giant slide and DJ “Oh’Sabi!”.
What: Wallerawang Australia Day Celebration I Where: Bowling Club I When: 10.30 am – 2pm
There will be a BBQ, damper cooking and thong throwing competitions, a mechanical bull, jumping castle and more. An official ceremony will be held at 11 am. Contact 6355 7374 for more details.

Australia Day will kick off with a community breakfast at 7am at APEX Park, followed by the annual open air Ecumenical Church service at 9am.
What: Family Swim I Where: Forbes Olympic Swimming Pool I When: 10.30am till 12.30pm
What: Street Parade I Where: Johnson Street I When: 5.30pm
If you want to participate in the Forbes street parade, assemble in Johnson Street at 5.30pm for a 5.45pm start. Everyone is invited to watch the parade, just find a place along Lachlan, Court or Camp Streets where the parade will follow and end at South Circle Oval.
What: Live Entertainment and Fireworks I Where: South Circle Oval I When: From 5.30pm
There will be free children’s rides, a CWA damper cooking competition, a bridge-to-bridge regatta, food and drink stalls and an official ceremony and citizen of the year announcements.
Australia Day Ambassador Warren Potent, an Olympic shooter will also be on hand to share the stories behind his Olympic journey.
Highlights of the night will include a live performance from Night Owl and a firework display from 9.30pm.

The day will begin with a free community breakfast and walk. There will be an all-Australian car display and an official ceremony and awards presentations which will begin at 11am

Join in the Australia Day festivities commencing at 7.30am with a community breakfast. The official ceremony will commence at 8.30am and includes award presentations and an address from the Parkes Shire Australia Day Ambassador Mr Mike Goldman.
There will also be a cake cutting, writing competition awards and novelty events.

There will be a junior disco at 5pm and a senior disco at 6pm. There will also be a free sausage sizzle for children under 18 from 6pm and a free Aqua Class from 4.30 to 5pm for all the community.

The event will feature the famous Australia Day Yabby Races, which will be presented by Australia Day Ambassador Mr Mike Goldman around 8pm.

There will be an 18 hole Stableford and presentation by the Australian Day Ambassador at 6pm.

What: Fundraising Ceremony and Breakfast I Where: Tullamore Memorial Park I When: 8am
There will be a fundraising ceremony and citizen of the year presentation, which will be followed by breakfast.

What: Australia Day Service | Where: Cowra Civic Centre | When:8.15am till 11.30am
The morning will begin with a free community breakfast, prepared by the Rotary Club of Cowra, with the support of the NSW Farmers Federation.
There will be an Australia Day service at 8.45am where you can meet the Australia day Ambassador, Jeff Sayle one of Australia’s rugby union greats. Following the service there will be a morning tea and the cutting of the Australia Day Cake.

The luncheon will feature special guest Jeff Sayle, the 2013 Australia day Ambassador. The Dr Warren Whiley Memorial Award will also be presented here. The luncheon cost $22.. RSVP to Florence Laver on 6342 1240.

What: Golf competition I Where: Cowra Golf Club I When: 10am till 2pm
There will be a nine hole, four man Ambrose competition followed by Aussie burgers for lunch and presentations.

There will be a Yabbie auction and races, music by Lauries Disco and from 3pm there will be novelty events including an eating completion and sumo wrestling and a BBQ all day.

There are heaps of activities planned to celebrate the day, there will be live music, a jumping castle, BBQ and the traditional Australia Day photo.

Enjoys Cobb and Co coach rides, street stalls, wood chopping, craft demonstrations, car displays, live music, thong throwing, whip cracking and more.
The Museums and Courthouse will be open and plenty of meals and BBQ's will be available throughout the day, with antique, giftware and pottery retail outlets all open.
At 10am MP Paul Toole will open the “Open the Window” exhibition at at the Carcoar Hospital Museum Operating Theatre. Entry is a gold coin donation per person.

The day will start with a breakfast, cooked by the SES for a gold coin donation. There will be an official Australia Day ceremony at 8.30am which will include the announcement of award winners and performances from top local talent.
There will be show bags for the kids and beautiful lamingtons made by the CWA. The Wellington Rotary Markets will also be held in the park near the library from 9am.
The theme of this year’s event is Australiana and the Australia Day committee is encouraging people to dress in great Australian gear.
