Afternoon update
ORANGE City councillors visited the site of Dan Murphy's this afternoon to have a last minute site inspection ahead of tomorrow's council meeting when they will decide if the liquor outlet should be given the go ahead to open.
The media was locked out of the inspection but all councillors except Cr Ash Brown and Cr Chris Gryllis - who has declared an interest in the development - were able to see for themselves if safety conditions had been met by the builders.
At least one councillor, Cr Scott Munro, still has reservations over the liquor outlet opening before the rest of the Summer Centre saying he will vote against the opening until a risk assessment for the site is completed.
