Writer has no sense of adventure

RE. Denis Gregory’s Stop Press article “Caravans hit the tow” (Central Western Daily, January 10), the only point to agree on is that Orange does not need a “posh caravan park”.

It needs a park run by the BIG4, Top Tourist or the like - not council.

To have such negative and unpleasant thoughts re. caravaners is a worrying aspect for a fellow road user.

Earlier this year my husband and I toured around Australia, involving five states - no caravan (staying in park cabins)- and covered 12,000km and at no time were we disadvantaged by caravans in tow. All were courteous drivers and great people who were enjoying what our wonderful country has to offer in a very affordable way.

Obviously Mr. Gregory has no sense of adventure and is totally unaware of the bond all these travellers share. Try it, you might like it!
