A WOODSTOCK man who drove while he was five times over the legal blood alcohol limit was not the only driver to commit a serious offence over the Christmas and new year period.
A couple of young drivers were caught driving at shockingly high speeds just before Christmas, but they were only two of the 146 people booked for speeding in the last two weeks.
Canobolas Traffic and Highway Patrol Command Sergeant Mark Hevers was bitterly disappointed people still had not got the message.
"Considering given it's only the 11th day of the operation it's a huge amount," he said.
Find out just how fast these two men were travelling in tomorrow's print edition of the Central Western Daily.
