A man has died this afternoon after a single vehicle accident at Hargraves in the Central West.

Around 1.45pm paramedics were called to an incident near Hargraves to find a patient had sustained fatal injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in had collided with a tree.
While the male driver was able to walk to a nearby property to raise an alert, his male passenger was found deceased inside the vehicle.
The driver was airlifted to Orange Base Hospital for treatment to his injuries, and has undergone mandatory blood and urine tests. Police intend to interview him at a later time
Ambulance NSW is calling for drivers to slow down and drive to the conditions after four separate fatal incidents across the state on Boxing Day.
Ambulance is calling on all drivers to be aware on the roads, through the rest of 2012 and into the New Year.
They are urging drivers to slow down, drive with your headlights on day and night during wild weather, always allow for a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front, Watch out for pedestrians, motorcyclists and cyclists in bad weather when visibility may be difficult and drive with care and caution, always expect the unexpected
