Christmas came early for Orange woman Brenda Woodward after her name was drawn out of a washing machine, as the lucky Festive Frenzy winner at Harvey Norman yesterday.
She will have the pleasure of spending $6000 at the store on anything she likes.
According to franchisee Wally Martyr, coffee machines have been at the top of the christmas wish lists this year.
“People are getting on the coffee bandwagon and we have a very big range,” he said.
The message behind the Festive Frenzy competition was about supporting business in town particularly in an environment where online shopping is an increasing trend.
Mr Martyr said when people shop
online they forego the one-on-one expertise a real salesperson can offer.
He said the customer service offered at Harvey Norman included expert advice on product, a friendly greeting and an allround warm feeling for the customer.
“A lot of our business is repeat business because of our customer service.”
