KURRAJONG and Orange pistol club members went head to head at yesterday's Central West zone shoot, held at the Orange club's Icely road range.
Thanks largely to the efforts of Pat O'Moore, the visitors claimed the majority of the honours on offer from the day's shooting.
O'Moore won a host of events and regularly featured in the placings of the ones he didn't, making himself at home on the Orange range.
Counted in his wins were the 10m mens air, where he shot 560 out of a possible 600, the 25m centrefire, centrefire off handicap and open sport off pistol.
Orange's Phil Berry and Max Wicks led the local charge, Wicks winning the unrestricted service pistol while Berry won the open sport off handicap.
Helen Johnson was also on target for the locals winning womens 10m air while Maisie Harvey won the womens 25m sport.
Only a small field of about 15 took part in yesterday's shoot.
