EX-SERVICES have consolidated their spot at the top of the women’s Premier League Hockey ladder after recording a 3-nil win over Kinross-CYMS on Wednesday night.
The result sees Ex-Services establish a five point lead at the top of the standings from second-placed Bathurst City, although the defending premiers have their round 12 game against Dubbo in hand.
Edwina Gadsby opened the scoring for the competition leaders in the 24th minute and that lead was held into half time.
Linda Wilson then added a second for Ex-Services 14 minutes after the break before Rochelle Dennis capped off the three-goal win nailing the final strike four minutes from full time.
Kinross-CYMS and Ex-Services played their round 12 match on Wednesday night as the under 13s boys State Championships are being held in Orange this weekend making it impossible to allocate a field for a PLH game.
