Orange, undefeated this season, will travel to take on the winless Blue Mountains side.
CYMS all-rounder Hamish Finlayson will again captain the side minus opener John Warrington, who is set to miss the clash through injury.
Orange selector Steve Warrington said the match was an important one.
“It is. If we can win on Sunday we should finish as minor premiers,” Warrington said.
Orange started the year with a bang, smashing Mudgee by seven wickets.
But its chances to finish the calender year on top of the ladder were dashed after a wash-out in round two against defending champions Bathurst.
As it stands, Bathurst sits on top of the ladder having played three games on 25 points.
Lithgow is next with 18 points from three matches while Orange has 15 points from its two games.
Mudgee (8) is fourth while the Blue Mountains (6) sit in fifth.
“Bathurst are certainly the team to beat and even though we beat them in round one, I think Mudgee are a bit of a dark horse,” Warrington said.
And despite the Blue Mountains sitting winless, Warrington said Orange’s colts outfit won’t take them lightly.
“The Blue Mountains, it’s always hard to fathom their strengths,” he said.
“We’re on their home soil on astroturf and if they pick the side I think they will, they’ll have guys like Stuart Collins who is a very good batsman. But we’re going into this game like we have the rest, we’re not taking anyone lightly.”
