CYMS will be buoyant going into tonight’s Royal Hotel Cup match against Cavaliers after recording their first win of the Orange District Cricket Association season last Saturday.
The CYMS bowling attack, and Allan Dhatt in particular, did well to bowl Kinross Wolaroi School out for 143 and they will be hoping to do similar today at Wade Park.
But Cavaliers will be a much tougher proposition as they have started the season red-hot with the bat.
Cavaliers blasted 6-250 from 40 overs in their first Royal Hotel Cup game against Centrals before amassing 8-365 in their two-day match against Orange City.
The CYMS bowling attack of Josh Sands, Matt Morrow, John Dickson and Dhatt will need to be on their game.
CYMS will sport a young line-up tonight, with Adam Smith, Nick Wright, Hamish Finlayson, Sam Dwyer and Adam Cowden all selected.
The green and golds will be without experienced batsmen Dean Turner and Dave Neil against Cavaliers.
Play between CYMS and Cavaliers starts at 5.30pm today at Wade Park.
