“Tiffany’s on life support at the moment in hospital in Sydney and her parents haven’t left her bedside,” Tiffany’s aunt Donna Stedman said yesterday.
“Obviously there are so many expenses involved with being away from home and living in Sydney close to the hospital, so family and friends thought the markets would be an ideal opportunity to help out.”
Just three days ago Ms Stedman posted her intention on Facebook.
“And then it went right off,” she said.
“The response has been huge today - we’ve had people donate cooking and all sorts of items.
“One man came up to us and donated a small John Deere tractor for us to raffle.
“We have all been absolutely blown away by the kindness and the generosity of the public.
“What I can’t get over is the generosity of people who don’t even know our family.”
