THOSE of us overwhelmed by the growing number of services on offer in Orange and Cabonne can rest a little easier following the release of the Orange and Cabonne 2009/10 Community Directory.
The full colour directory, available from the Central Western Daily, features the region’s most comprehensive list of services. It is also available at the Visitor Information Centre and Council chambers.
A liftout map of Orange and surrounds is also included for your convenience along with calendars of events to be held throughout the region between now and September 2010.
The guide has been published by the Central Western Daily in conjunction with Orange City Council and Cabonne Council.
Orange City Council community services manager Maureen Horth described the Orange and Cabonne 2009/10 Community Directory as an “essential” tool to make the most of everything our thriving community has to offer.
The community directory will also be available from participating businesses and service providers over the next 12 months.
Central Western Daily managing editor Tony Rhead said the directory made it far easier for residents to utilise the range of services Orange had to offer.
“People’s needs change so it doesn’t matter whether you are a tree changer, a migrant with no family support or a long-time resident, there will be times when you have a question about services, facilities or a recreational club,” he said.
“The Orange and Cabonne Community Directory should be the first place to look for the answer. Thanks to the support of the Orange and Cabonne councils the directory is a great resource for the community.”
